My name is Stacy D. and I am the manager of Peace of Mind Pet Service and a pet sitter. I am a customer oriented professional who does things with the highest level of integrity. My goal is to give your pets the highest level of care and love they deserve. I have been with Peace of Mind for past 5 years in both a managerial and pet sitter capacities. I have been a volunteer for many years at the local pet shelter. Prior to working with Peace Of Mind I had my own pet sitting service in the Chicago-land area. When I am not loving on clients pups or kitties I am a proud mother of three kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. I love to travel, spend time with family, and go the beach in my spare time.
Stephanie S.Pet Sitter
Hi my name is Stephanie! I grew up in South Florida with animals always by my side. My first best friend was my puppy. I learned how to love, treat and care for dogs and cats at a very young age. I treat all my furry clients as if they were my own- with love and kindness. It really is such a joy to be greeted with licks, purrs and wagging tails each day.
After a very successful but unfulfilling career as an accountant, I began looking for ways to focus my energies in a more gratifying way. After spending some time volunteering with animal shelters and dog rescues, I adopted my two spinal-injury miniature dachshunds in 2006 and began training them immediately. I found that I enjoyed the training aspect and became a full-time dog trainer in 2013 and am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. I find it incredibly rewarding to work with families and see their lives become better, easier and happier because their dog listens so reliably. I truly believe our pets are our family members and should be treated with respect and compassion. I bring this same work ethic to my dog walking and pet sitting endeavors and joined POMACS in early 2016 to supplement my dog training business.
My name is Melinda. I have been a Florida resident since 1976 and I have lived in Delray Beach since 2002. I studied biology and math and one of my career choices would have been veterinary medicine because I have always loved animals. However, my life path took me in other directions away from veterinary school and I became more involved with math and international banking. When I moved to Florida I worked as a bookkeeper and an officer manager for a construction company and a diamond broker. During the 1980's and 90's I became a mother to three girls and worked as a banker until I retired in 2016. I had always had great interaction with animals and that love brought me to Peace of Mind, a company I had used several times in the past to take care of my three cats while I went on vacation. I have come full circle from wishing to work with animals to fulfilling that wish forty years later!
